I love it myself. It could be utter dross but I love it. It's about time Steve the Space Marine and Bob the Bumpagaunt got their time in the limelight.

Gotta say wow! Does look like 2019 is turning out to be a great year for BL releases.

I wonder if we are also getting the third Horusian Wars novel from John French alongside this (very welcome) anthology? If we get that and (I can dream) Abnett's Penitent, and also Urdesh by Farrer, then 2019 will probably rank as my personal best BL year in years (or perhaps ever). I mean has there ever been a year with as many must buy (and happy to do so in hardback) releases as this...

Anarch - Abnett
Sabbat Crusade background book - Abnett
Penitent - Abnett (not totally confirmed but oh so close)

Requiem Infernal - Fehervari

Horusian Wars: Divination - French
Horusian Wars: Book 3 - French (not confirmed but surely?)
Siege of Terra: The Solar War - French

Vaults of Terra: The Hollow Mountain - Wraight
Watchers of the Throne: Shadow of the Regent - Wraight

Urdesh - Farrer (I know he is currently working through edits so surely this year - maybe tied to background book release schedule)

Spear of the Emperor - ADB

Siege of Terra: Lost and Damned - Haley

There has never been a year where so many books have been released that I will happily buy in hardback (due to knowing the quality contained between the covers).

On top of that list there are plenty of others that I know I will buy in paperback but in some cases tempted to go for hardback (hearing good things about Rachel Harrison for example).

Oh and I almost forgot the launch of Warhammer Horror (which so far seems pretty good and has so much potential).

Careful, could be the year that French, Farrer, Dembski-Bowden, Abnett, Haley and Fehervari all release absolute uncharacteristic stinkers!

(Though as folk have already read Requiem Infernal and Spear of the Emperor, that seems unlikely.)

I'm thrilled to (eventually) get round to a full circuit of the Horror novels and Honourbound too.

It does mean there's quite a lot to read, alas! :o

So,seems the ebook for the new Steve Parker Deathwatch novel will not be avaiable from BL directly but only from iBooks/Amazon

On one side, that's nice for my wallet since it means i can pay it 9.99 instead of the markup BL does for ebook editions of hardbacks (i dont even...but that's old story...)

On the other hand, that means not having the multiple file format available to download...And also makes the BL account kinda useless...
